The lodge has single and double canoes available. The Goukamma River flows all the way to Buffels Bay – some 11 kms, +\- two and a half hours paddling time. For the “super-fit” a row “there and back” and for the less energetic collection at a nominal fee from the Goukamma Nature Reserve can be arranged. So as to ensure energy levels are kept up, picnic baskets can be ordered. On your trip you will need: binoculars, sun hat, sun screen, insect repellent and water. You will need to complete an Indemnity Form available at the restaurant and / or at Reception.
